Caraminhola movies
Caraminhola Filmes was created in 2006, in Rio de Janeiro, by screenwriter and director Alan Minas and producer Daniela Vitorino. The productions are original, conciliate content and artistic refinement, and dialogue about and for childhood and youth. They made the feature A Família Dionti, a co-production with England and Canal Brasil, with the support of the Latin American Fund - Tribeca Film Institute, which received the awards for best film from the popular jury at the 48th Brasília Film Festival; best screenplay at the 10th Youngabout International Film Festival Bologna; best audience film at the 7th Festin in Lisbon; best child actor at the 16th San Diego International Kids Film Festival and best film at the 3rd Mostra de Cinema de Gostoso - RN. They made and distributed the documentary A Morte Inventada – Parental Alienation, which became an audiovisual reference on the subject in Brazil and abroad, and organized the book A Morte Inventada – Ensaios e Vozes, published by Saraiva. They made the award-winning short films: The Language of Things, by Curta Criança MINC &TV Brasil, inspired by the work of Manoel de Barros, awarded at FAM and CineFantasy-SP, and invited to Mostra Geração at the Rio Festival; A Encomenda, with Othon Bastos, awarded at the São Paulo and Teresina Short Film Festival; the hostage, best film at the Amazon Festival; In the stars; Men to the Sea; and The Whistle. They are preparing the feature films O Deserto de Luíza, and the children's film Quando Ju Escapou pra Dentro, and developing co-productions in national and international partnerships.
Alan Minas
Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1969, he has a degree in cinema and a postgraduate degree in screenwriting. Screenwriter and director of the fiction feature film A Família Dionti, award for best film by the Popular Jury at the 48th Festival of Brasília, best film at the 3rd Mostra de Cinema de Gostoso, best screenplay at the 10th Youngabout International Film Festival Bologna, best film by the Popular Jury at the 7th Festin in Lisbon, and best Child Actor at the 16th San Diego International Film Kids, and with the support of the Latin America Fund 2015-Tribeca Film Institute; of the documentary A Morte Inventada- Parental Alienation, which became a reference on the subject in Brazil and abroad, and unfolding in the organization of the book A Morte Inventada – Ensaios e Vozes published by Saraiva in 2014. He made the short films: A Língua das Coisas (2010) , from Curta Criança do Minc and TV Brasil; prizes at FAM-2010, and best script at Cine Fantasy–SP-2010, guest at Festival do Rio – Mostra Geração; Men over the sea (2006), premiered at the Vina Del Mar Film Festival; O Refém (2004), best film award at CineAmazônia; A Encomenda (2002), awarded at the São Paulo and Teresina Short Film Festivals; and The Whistle (2000). He wrote the screenplay for the award-winning short Nas Estrelas (2001).
He lit up the launch shows of Jussara Silveira's Fria Claridade album at Teatro Rival in Rio de Janeiro and at Teatro Castro Alves in Salvador; and several shows by Teatro Mínimo, such as As Mil e Uma Noites, awarded as the best illuminator at the Festival de Guarulhos-SP-2000. In 2016, he released the books “Quando Ju Escapou pra Dentro” and “A Família Dionti” by Berlendis & Vertecchia. And he is developing fiction features and TV series, and writing children's books.
Daniela Vitorino
Daniela Vitorino was born in Brasília in 1976, graduated in cinema in Rio de Janeiro at Universidade Estácio de Sá in 2001; and graduated in executive production for cinema and TV at ESPM-RJ in 2005. Partner at Caraminhola Filmes produced the feature A Família Dionti, co-production with England and Canal Brasil, support of Tribeca TFI, awards for best audience film at the 48th Festival de Brasília, at the 7th Festin Lisboa, and at the 3rd Mostra de Cinema de Gostoso, best screenplay at the 10th ° Youngabout in Bologna, and best child actor at the 16th San Diego Kids IFF. Produced and distributed the feature documentary The Invented Death-Parental Alienation and the award-winning short The Language of Things for the Curta Criança Minc/TVBrasil. He produced and directed several short films, such as the award-winning A Encomenda and O Refém by Alan Minas. Is preparing the fiction features The Luíza Desert, with support from Riofilme and Films from Rio, the childish When Ju Escaped Inside, and other projects in national and international co-productions.
